In machine default state, there is no username/password for logging-in. If your machine is firmware version 2.7 or above, please use admin/admin for machine logging-in.

Default IP address of AC1200R: 192.168.26.1, no username/password for logging-in (if the unit on your side is firmware 2.7 or later, please use admin/admin for machine access.)OpenWRT is not officially supported, no binary image for now. Some keyword \”RTL8197D openwrt\” search might help to get the source codes. Please compile the firmware on your own risk, and any move causing the unit being \”brick\” might bring additional RMA cost, please kindly be advised.

Drivers of AWUS036NHRv2 are compatible with AWUS036NHRv1, please download AWUS036NHRv2 listed above.Before installing the new driver/utility, please be sure to uninstall the previous drivers/utility and reboot computer if asked. After new driver/utility installation, your AWUS036NHRv1 shall be operational on Windows 10 platform.

Hi, I am not sure if the driver installation was successful as I could not detect any 5ghz network on my AWUS051NH dongle. What should I do next? I could not locate any .inf file within the installation folder hence I could not manually update the driver (just to make sure I am using the correct driver).

Please kindly check if there is question mark, exclamation mark or stop sign in the network adapter section of your computers device manager (path:Right click on \”Computer\” –> select \”Manage\” -> select \”Device Manager\” -> expend \”Network Adapters\”). If the driver installation is successful, there will be NO error sign/mark on the adapter's tab.If the adapter is functional, use the wireless adapter utility or Windows built-in network manager to scan the wireless network nearby. Both 2.4G and 5G network wil lbe scanned, and results will be displayed in wireless adapter utility window or Windows network manager (if you're doing the wireless scan via Windows network manager )Please make sure there is 5G access point nearby, so that the results of site survey can be proper.If there is still difficulty, please kindly send detail network device info and relevant settings to support mailbox (support@alfa.com.tw) for further analysis. Is the AWUS036NHV shown in your WLAN adapter utility window? Please make sure if the AWUS036NHV is properly installed (there should have no question mark, exclamation mark or stop sign in the network adapter section of your computers device manager)Uninstall the existing WLAN adapter utility/driver in your computer, reboot your computer, then download the lastest WLAN adapter utility/driver from this page (if your computer is Windows 10) or use the driver DVD (if your computer is not Windows 10), re-install the WLAN adapter utility/driver to see if the AWUS036NHV is enabled in WLAN adapter utility window.If the symptom persists, please kindly send SN/MAC info, screenshots of Windows device manager, WLAN adapter utility window, LED status, …etc. and Windows version info to support mailbox (support@alfa.com.tw) for further analysis. On Windows 10 platform, AWUS036H has driver support only, no adapter utility. To install driver on a Windows 10 computer, please refer to this article: http://alfanetworkinc.blogspot.tw/2015/08/awus036h-window-10-installation-guide.html to complete driver installation on Windows10 platform. After driver installation, please use Windows built-in network manager to setup your AWUS036H to connect to wireless network. Thanks.

I have the following Alfa products: AWUS036H AWUS036NH AWUS036NHR V2 I have used all of them with Windows 7, but I got the best result with the AWUS036NH as it connected to two distant hotspots that I could access. With Windows 10 x64, and the drivers on your Windows 10 Blog (http://alfanetworkinc.blogspot.tw/2015/08/blog-post.html) I can either not see these two hotspots, or I cannot connect to them. This must be a driver issue.

Thanks for supporting ALFA products. About the symptom on your side, there are plenty factors affecting wireless performance. To have better understandings, can you send us the signal strength obtained on AWUS036NH vs the distant hospots? And if convenient, please also send us the signal strength on Windows 7 computer, so that we may compare the difference. And how's the distance to the hotspot AP? Any dynamic signal-blocking objects in-between? What kind of antenna used with AWUS036NH? 2 pc with windows 101 with xpi received an answer of johnson but he never replied backwhen you connect the alfa some wireless apeears but you can't connect and after 2 minutes not wireless appears in windows/realtek utilityi can send you pictures of the issue

The symptom is brought by the adapter not detected by utility. Please check if the USB cable is properly, directly connected with Tube-U(N), and the USB interface on computer has sufficient power (5V 1A) supply. If the symptom persists, please test Tube-U(N) on another computer, and update us the results. Thanks for your feedback.

About the symptom on your Windows 10 computer, please download and try this release (https://mega.nz/#!0J8h2RLT!_RYbqEL47EpnDonjvP4ZkTglzBASXo7JqRWbhTlRFe0) on Windows 10 platform only. Before proceeding, please read the installation.txt carefully, and uninstall previous driver/utility release before evaluation.And re-check if the previous symptom persists.

For your AWUS036H installation on Windows 10 platform, please download the AWUS036H driver at the top of this page, and refer to the operation steps in this link (http://alfanetworkinc.blogspot.tw/2015/08/awus036h-window-10-installation-guide.html) to complete Windows 10 installation. As for the driver for MAC OSX El Capitan, we're sorry to inform you the driver is not available (driver updates from chipset vendor is not available yet.), please check ALFA Network's website for further products news, thank you.

On my windows 10 laptop the driver for awus036nhv works for me and utility did install as well. But when I try to switch to AP mode it can not finish the ICS configuration en keeps trying to apply ICS settings but it swwms to fail.

I just got the AWUS036AC on my Windows 10. My computer can now detect my 5ghz channel but it's very slow. The 5ghz channel is 90mbps on my phone but only 17mbps through my computer. That's a lot slower than my 2.4 ghz channel. Any idea why I'm not getting my full speed?

Please try uninstalling previous driver/utility installation, and download the win 10 driver from ALFA website (or a link here for your convenience: http://alfanetworkforum.com/upload/drivers/Windows/WIN10_10.1_R.rar) . After installation, please make sure the AWUS036NHV is properly shown in the utility window, and select the SoftAP mode in the top menu of the utility; the software AP feature shall be enabled, and the ICS function on your laptop shall be working.If there is still difficulty enabling the AWUS036NHV SoftAP feature, please check if there is firewall, IDS, or Anti-Virus with firewall software stopping the SoftAP on your adapter. If yes, please disable these software, and re-do the stepsl the SoftAP shall be operational for you.

There are plenty factors affecting wireless performance, transmission distance, antenna angles, antenna types, direction, signal-blocking object in-between ….etc. And some of these factors are various from time to time. As you know, 5G wireless is more sensitive, and shorter distance than the conventional 2.4G wireless. It will be helpful if you may send more info about the testing scenarios/setup on your side, more discussions on the symptom can be performed for solutions.

According to the descriptions, the most possible model is Tube-U(N) or UBDo-nt. If it is, the driver here shall help the Windows 10 driver installation: http://1drv.ms/1USL2Wi . If it is not, had better to clarify the ALFA adapter at your hand genuine or not, please send S/N and MAC address info (these can be found on the product sticker on the product or the giftbox of the product) to ALFA (support@alfa.com.tw), a copy of product photo will be helpful, too.
